Summer Heat Production Update by Hengxing Manufacturer

As summer arrives in full force, persistent high temperatures have begun to impact industrial production across many regions in China. We would like to update you on our current production schedule so that you can better plan your procurement and inventory.

Since the start of July, temperatures in Ningbo and surrounding areas have continued to climb, with some periods exceeding 40°C. The heat presents multiple challenges to the manufacturing of traffic safety equipment:

* Workshop temperatures: Key processes such as injection molding and rubber vulcanization require stable operating conditions. To protect employee health and ensure product quality, we have enhanced ventilation and cooling measures, which means some lines cannot operate at full capacity continuously.

* Electricity restrictions: During peak summer demand, localized power rationing may occur. Although we have backup power solutions in place, scheduled or unscheduled power cuts can still disrupt continuous production.

* Raw material supply: High temperatures also affect our upstream suppliers' production and logistics, extending the delivery times for certain raw materials.

Due to the combined impact of these factors, our production capacity has moderated since July. Estimated lead times for new orders will be extended to approximately 40–45 days.

This applies to our full range of products, including but not limited to: LED Warning Light, Traffic Cone, Warning Post Delineator, Traffic Barrier, Speed Hump, Wheel Stopper, Corner Protector, Plastic Chain, Cable Protector.

To minimize the impact of extended lead times, Hengxing has taken the following actions:

* Orderly scheduling: Production is arranged in sequence based on order payment dates – earlier payment ensures earlier production. Urgent orders are prioritized where possible.

* Shift optimization: We have adjusted working hours for certain processes, avoiding the hottest afternoon period and ramping up production during cooler early morning and evening hours.

* Inventory buffer: We have increased safety stock levels for commonly used materials to reduce uncertainty from supply chain fluctuations.

* Employee care: We are providing heat protection supplies and arranging reasonable rotating shifts to ensure employees work in good health, maintaining stable product quality.

To ensure your projects are not affected by extended lead times, we recommend:

* Place orders early: Please confirm your procurement plan as soon as possible. The earlier an order is placed, the sooner we can schedule it into production.

* Communicate special requirements: If you have specific delivery requirements, please contact our sales team in advance – we will do our best to accommodate.
